Regional Codes of Russia is an app that will allow you to find the regional number of Russian license plates. This is because, in Russia, depending on the region where you have registered your vehicle, you are assigned one number or another. Thanks to this app, you can find out where any vehicle is from by entering the license plate's first two digits.
Using Regional Codes of Russia is very simple. From the first tab, you just have to enter a number, and the app will instantly tell you which region it belongs to. Remember that if, for example, you want to enter the number 5, you should enter the number 05. You should always have two digits. The number 05, for example, belongs to the Republic of Dagestan, while the number 10 belongs to the Republic of Karelia.
The second tab will allow you to search reverse. That means, from this second tab, you can enter the name of a region, and the app will return the license plate number. For example, if you type Moscow in the text field, you will see that several different digits correspond to the capital of Russia: 77, 97, 99, 177, 197, 199, 777, 797, 799, 977.
